Ray Carter is a sixth generation Texican, born and raised in Texas. His love of land, real estate and entrepreneurship started early on when he graduated from Victoria College in Business and Real Estate and started Carter Real Estate in 1986. In the 1980's and 90's he developed 2 tracts of land into subdivisions, utilizing and reserving the mineral interest and the deeper water rights for future development/investment. Ray used his business knowledge to start several other companies for cattle, oil & gas investments, and hot shot transportation. An avid historian of Texas history, Ray has authored many historical and newspaper writings, receiving many state and local awards. He is actively involved and holds positions in many community organizations; including the Sons of the Republic of Texas, Bandera County Historical Commission, South Texas Western Cattle Trail Association, and National Western Cattle Association, among many others. Ray’s extensive experience in business, land, cattle and real estate coupled with his enduring reverence toward the lone star state’s unique heritage gives him the ability to represent a vast array of buyers and sellers across Texas.
